Timing

Back earlier than stated - Well done!
30 minutes over limit - no penalty
Over 30 minutes past limit - pay for extra day

Rates All rates exclude fuel and are subject to variation without notice.

Driver's Licence

A current full British or International Licence must be produced at commencement of hire, free from certain endorsements, and also have been in force for at least 12 months since the driving test.  Hirer's should normally be over 21 years of age and under 70 years of age, 25 years of age for cargo and buses.

Insurance

Fully comprehensive insurance is given at a small cost, but there is the first £500 excess charge on all claims.

Please note any damage to tyre sidewalls and wheels caused as a result of the vehicle striking kerbs and off road obstructions, and any overhead damage in the case of commercial vehicles, is the Hirer's responsibility.  Any seats or interior damage, customers will be responsible for full cost of repair or replacement.

Deposits and Payment

The estimated cost of rental is required and a deposit at the time of taking delivery of the vehicle.  A final adjustment will be made on complrtion of the rental.  Payment may be made by cash or cheque with Banker's card (to the agreed limit), Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard and Switch accepted.

Extension of Hire

This can be arranged provided the hirer notifies the hiring depot immediately.  An additional deposit must be paid covering the extension of hire and to enable full insurance cover to be given.

Minimum Rental Charges

The minimum rental period and charge is 24 hours.

Abroad

No vehicle may be taken outside England, Scotland and Wales.

Vehicle Loading

Hirer's are responsible for ensuring that vehicles are not overloaded.  Current regulations impose severe penalties for loading vehicles in excess of their correct pay loads.

Owner Liability

The hirer is responsible for all fines and penalties imposed whilst the vehicle is on hire to him/her.  Under the Road Traffic Act the hirer is deemed to be the owner of the vehicle during the period of the hiring agreement.

AA Cover

You have AA relay plus.  Ask AA recovery person for details.  AA relay must be back to us otherwise customers will incur costs.
